Change of policy for non-profit activities: will offer voluntary commitment to charitable ones
Recently, we announced our services when applying for the Marubeni Fund, but we have changed our policy. This time, we have decided to volunteer to help organisations that have asked us to apply for the Fund. One of these organisations distributes meals to homeless people every week, and we found that the fee we were showing was equivalent to the cost of food for more than 100 people; this is the background of the policy change, and we are happy to offer assistance to those helping vulnerable people.
If our previous fee structure was a barrier for someone interested, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience it may have caused. In the future, we plan to offer services with more accessible fees for non-profit activities than businesses, and we will make a new announcement when we decide. We always want to be committed to supporting organisations, both businesses and non-profits, including charities and individuals, in fulfilling their missions.
Furthermore, we are happy to offer our voluntary services to charities applying for grants, although only as time permits. Hence, there is no guarantee that we will always be able to respond, so we will make an announcement whenever possible. Alternatively, if there is a grant you would like to apply for, please let us know in advance, not at the last minute (please😅). When doing so, please remember to mention that your activity is a charity and what kind of work you do. A fee may be charged if it is deemed not a charity.
Thank you for your kind understanding and cooperation.
