株式会社ポッセ・ニッポンは、代表の堀江が外国籍の友人のスキルを活かしたいと考えたことから始まりました。友人は、スキルがあるにもかかわらず、日本語力がハードルとなって仕事の選択肢が限られていました。
一人ではできなくても、お互いの得意なことを組み合わせれば、できることがたくさんある。そのための場所を、ここに作りました。代表の堀江は、プロのライター/編集者としても活動しています。

“Living outside your home country can be a fascinating experience while sometimes very challenging. That was the case for me when I was in Europe and Southeast Asia. It's often due to a cultural barrier or language, and common in many areas of the world.
However, most challenges in Japan can be overcome with sufficient bilingual assistance. So, I decided to start my own company to assist non-Japanese people here as a bilingual business person.
I named it 'Posse Nippon' as a team member of your life in Japan. Posse is not only this company, but can also be you for someone in need of help.”
With 12 years of journalism experience at a Japanese paper, the Yomiuri, I switched my career to an international field, including the UN and NGOs. then establishing Posse Nippon in 2017.
Formerly deputy editor-in-chief of AFPBB, an international news website. Trainee of the Peacebuilding Human Resources Development Project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Japan (2011),. MSc Violence, Conflict and Development, University of London (SOAS), and BA in International Studies, Aoyama Gakuin University.
読売新聞に記者として12年勤務したのち、国連機関やNGO勤務を経て、株式会社ポッセ・ニッポン設立。元・国際ニュースサイトAFPBB副編集長。外務省平和構築人材育成事業研修員（平成23年度）。青山学院大学国際政治経済学部卒。ロンドン大学修士（MSc in Violence, Conflict and Development）.
